1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PolicyDr.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the service.

2. Nature of the Service

PolicyDr provides an automated analysis of insurance policy documents uploaded by users. The analysis is generated using artificial intelligence and a rule-based mapping system aligned with IRDAI standard terms. The output is:

• Informational in nature and for personal reference only
• Not a substitute for advice from a licensed insurance advisor or broker
• Based solely on the document uploaded — not your actual policy as held by the insurer
• Subject to the limitations of AI-based document interpretation

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Upload only documents you are legally entitled to share
• Provide a valid email address to receive your report
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform

4. Payment

The service is priced at ₹199 per analysis. Payment is processed securely via Razorpay. By making a payment, you authorise the charge to your selected payment method. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Accuracy and Limitations

PolicyDr uses artificial intelligence to analyse insurance policy documents. While we strive for accuracy, the analysis has inherent limitations you must be aware of:

• The report may contain errors, misinterpretations, or omissions. Insurance policy wording is complex and context-dependent — AI analysis is not infallible.
• The absence of a term or coverage in the report does not confirm its absence from your actual policy. Some terms may not have been detected due to non-standard language used by your insurer.
• The report reflects the document you uploaded at the time of analysis. It does not account for endorsements, riders, or schedule amendments not present in the uploaded file.
• Premium amounts, sum insured figures, and waiting periods mentioned in the report are extracted from your document and should be verified against your original policy schedule.
• Always verify all findings directly with your insurer or a licensed insurance advisor before making any coverage or renewal decisions.

PolicyDr expressly disclaims liability for any decisions made in reliance on the report without independent verification.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software on PolicyDr.com is the property of PolicyDr and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolicyDr shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on the analysis report. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use of the service.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
